Springtime will have many of you thinking about trimming down and losing those extra pounds you collected over the winter:
- Try a “spinning”class to give you a high energy workout that burns fat and provides a full-body workout and sculpts those leg muscles.
- Just say “no” to processed foods. This will automatically reduce your sugar, salt and fat intake.
- FIBER! If you eat foods high in fiber, you will absorb fewer calories. 30-35 grams a day is what we need. Think whole grain breads, various cooked grains instead of potatoes or pasta. Broccoli, Brussel sprouts, lentils, and other legumes give you lots of fiber. Raspberries top the fruit list. Bananas, oranges and strawberries are good too.
